On July 23 at 1:32 AM Police responded to report of a suspicious vehicle on Rockaway St at South Lane, Police responded. Previously there were several vehicles that were broken into. Officers responded to the area Patrolman Michael Gulla observed the described suspect vehicle on Essex Ave and activated his lights and siren. The vehicle attempted to elude the officer. The vehicle had no tags and was suspected in burglaries and thefts to numerous motor vehicles in the area so the officer continued to follow the vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently stopped in Denville with the assistance of Denville Police and the occupants were arrested. They were identified as Steven M. Allen age 35 of Newark, Alquan L Webb age 18 of Newark and a 14-year-old juvenile also from Newark. All were placed under arrest and transported to Boonton Police headquarters where they were charged with 5 counts of Burglary, and Theft, Motor vehicle theft, additionally the two adults were charged with using a juvenile in the commission of a crime both adults were lodged in the Morris County Jail in default of $75,000 bail. The juvenile was lodged in the county youth center.

On July 24, at 11:44 Am Police arrested Frank J Deriancho age 29 of Randolph on several outstanding warrants. He was processed and turned over to Roxbury Twp Police in default of bail.

On July 25 at 1:58 PM Boonton Police responded to Bergen County Jail to take custody of Michael J Rinaldi who had an active warrant from Boonton. He was processed and transported to the Morris County Correctional facility in default of $1,000 bail.

On July 26, at 12:40 PM Police arrested Fareeda I Pathan on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. She was processed and released after posting bail.

On July 27 at 2:16 PM police responded to William St on a reported erratic driver Making threatening gestures to a motorist. Police stopped a black Jeep and the driver was identified as Donald L Ayres age 47 of Boonton. He was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and charged with Driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a breath test, reckless driving and Harassment. He was processed and released pending a court date.

On July 29 at 6:09 PM Police responded to Wal-Mart on a reported Shoplifting. Tara A Sandillo age 33 of Lake Hiawatha was allegedly observed by store security to conceal $33.00 worth of merchandise in order to remove it from the store without paying. She was processed and released pending a court date.

A charge is merely an accusation, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
