On October 15, at 4:27 PM Michael A Fortunato Jr, age 26 of Boonton posted $89.00 bail on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.

On October 16 at 2:24 PM Police responded to Wal-Mart for a reported shoplifting. Falaq M Mughal age 18 of Pinebrook was charged with theft for allegedly concealing merchandise worth $34.00 She was processed and released pending a court date.

On October 16 at 2:56 PM Police were called to the Wal-Mart for a reported shoplifting. Christine Dressler age 66 of Mountain Lakes was charged with theft for allegedly trying to remove $369.00 worth of merchandise. She was processed and released pending a court date.

On October 16 at 7:05 PM police arrested Anthony Sicoli age 38 Of Boonton on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. He was processed and turned over to Middlesex County Sheriff’s officers.

On October 17 at 10:35 AM Police responded to and address on Cedar St for a reported altercation between two males. Upon arrival Officers separated the individuals and investigation let to the arrest of Robert P Dawkins age 43 of Boonton. Dawkins got into an argument with the male victim age 35 also of Boonton and struck the male in the back with a sledge hammer. Dawkins was charged with Aggravated assault and possession of a weapon. Bail was set by Judge Wubbenhorst in the amount of $15,000 with a 10% option. Dawkins was processed and released after posting bail. The victim was transported to St Claire’s hospital where he was treated and released.

A charge is merely an accusation, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty
